Serve

We believe that every member of the church is called to serve both the church and the community at large. We are a family and as a family, we all lend a hand.

Here is a list of the different teams you can serve on and a place to sign up:

Welcome

We believe that everyone who walks through the doors of our church building should feel the welcome of Jesus. Paul says to “…welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” (Rom. 15:7). The Welcome Team is responsible for handing out bulletins on Sunday Morning and/or greeting visitors and guests that join us.

Prayer

We believe that prayer is vital in the life of the believer and in the church at large. Jesus prioritized praying to His heavenly Father in private and he also publicly taught His disciples how they ought to pray (Luke 5:16, Matthew 6:9-13). The Prayer Team is responsible for praying together before the gathering, planning prayer services, and praying for the needs within our church and for the community at large.

Serve Sampson

We believe that Scripture commands us to love both God and neighbor (Mark 12:30-31). We do this by seeking to meet both physical and spiritual needs. The Serve Sampson Team is responsible for finding and organizing mission and service work for the people of The Vine.

Worship

We believe that God commands us to sing and that the people who lead us in musical worship should be Savior-centered, Spirit-led, Scripture-shaped, servant-minded, and skillful (Colossians 3:16). The Worship Team is responsible for leading the congregation in musical worship through singing and playing different instruments.

Production

We believe that musical worship should be led with undistracting excellence. This ensures that we keep our focus on Jesus (Philippians 2:9-11). The Production Team is responsible for creating an environment free from distraction that aids the congregation’s worship of Jesus. They are in charge of running the sound, lights, slides, and live stream for the Sunday gathering and other events.

Vine Students

The vision of our Vine Students is to point to the good news that Jesus is Better. Our Vine Students Team is responsible for building gospel-centered relationships with middle and high school students. They lead small groups, go on outings, and create fun environments to learn about Jesus.

Vine Kids

We believe that we are called as a church to partner with parents in the discipleship of the next generation (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). The Vine Kids Team is responsible for helping build a foundation for a life of faith in Jesus in the kids (Pre-K to 5th grade) of The Vine. They teach lessons, answer questions, and cultivate a fun environment to grow and learn about the Scriptures primarily on Sunday nights.

Vine Sprouts

We believe that we are called as a church to partner with parents in the discipleship of the next generation (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). The Vine Sprouts team is responsible for helping build a foundation for a life of faith in Jesus in the kids (ages 3 to 5) of The Vine. They teach lessons, answer questions, and cultivate a fun environment to grow and learn about the Scriptures on Sunday mornings after the singing from around 10:30 to 11:15.

Nursery

We believe that young kids need a safe place to have fun on Sunday mornings while parents are worshipping. The Nursery Team is responsible for providing a fun space for kids (ages birth to 3) to come and play during the Sunday gathering.
